5. Regional livestock services directorate

o Supervises activities of DLSO
o Prepares and programmes that are to be implemented under DLSO and carry out monotoring and evaluation.
o Helps run the livestock service programmes effectively by coordinating various concerned agencies functioning in the region.

6. District livestock service offices (75)

• Prepares and executes programmes outlined in the norms and necessary for the district.
• Follows the directions given by the higher level offices.
